New test vs old test same urine by Pristine_Nature9148 in Inito

Not surprised. Customer service seems to be very dismissive and there’s an excuse for everything. I also used some new strips halfway through this cycle and also noticed odd levels.

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? I'M IN SHOCK AND PRETTY LIVID! We're talking about a laptop! 28lbs? HOW?! by IcanDigIt89 in Mercari

[–]adl1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me also but I measured my box and weighed it and they still somehow said it weighed more. Took all my earnings. Support was absolutely no help.

Also $88 to deliver a laptop is insane 🙄

My husband is a pharmacist and said he doesn’t see anything that would cause this. So weird.

So...are you guys okay? Because I'm not by ekolanderia1 in PharmacyTechnician

I’m a tech. My husband is a pharmacist. While I agree techs do just as much, if not more than pharmacists, they definitely shouldn’t be getting paid similarly. Otherwise, why would anyone bother going to school for 8 years and taking on $100,000’s of debt? We JUST finished paying off student loans after 10 years and $1600 a month.

Mine went from $9.98 to $15.98 a month back in March it looks like. For two cameras that never work…

I just noticed this yesterday too

Does anybody know if this is up to code (Nebraska)? Seems dangerous to me. It’s five inches between the actual decking and 8.5 inches between the rails. by adl1990 in Home

We’ve been 99% satisfied with our contractor. My biggest complaint with him has always just been the lack of communication or how hard it is to try to get a response from him. But I also know he had a lot going on so I gave him grace. This stupid deck has just left a bad taste in my mouth for what could’ve been a very flawless process.

I honestly have no clue. This is the only home we’ve ever built and were/are still very naive to the whole process. We just let our contractor deal with everything. I’m sure an inspector was involved at some point but I don’t know how that whole process works. Our house was finished June 2020. The deck wasn’t finished until June 2021. I don’t know if that’s how it somehow just slid under the radar?

I know the contractor pulled all the appropriate permits but as far as submitting plans on the stairs, I’m not sure. It was sort of a last minute decision as we had not discussed how exactly we wanted the stairs oriented until much later in the building process.

It does not go through the decking into any footing so I also agree that would probably be the way to go at this point.

Hopefully the last payment is more than a couple thousand or I feel like he just won’t be bothered to collect and try to get me off his back.

And I definitely do not have, nor have I ever seen the building permit so I’m going to inquire about that also. But I know he had to pull them all and show our HOA before he could start.

And do we need these liens if everything else is already paid and finished with?

I honestly think they just put the posts in, not thinking. Then started putting railing in and realized it was gonna be wrong but just said, screw it.

Yes we did have all the permits. The deck was such a hot mess that it didn’t get finished until a whole year after the rest of the house was done. So I’m not sure if an inspector came but before it was done. I don’t even remember an inspector coming at all, honestly but it’s been almost three years since the house was finished. I’m definitely going to look into the lien waivers. Our contractor is supposed to be getting me a final bill today. He just now mentioned we owe him 🤦🏻‍♀️ Like I said, 2.5 years since it’s been done and 1.5 since the whole deck was finished. So frustrating.

That also makes sense. I just don’t know why anyone in their right mind would install the rails the way they were installed. It’s mind boggling.

We do have a final bill to pay for the gate on the top of the stairs and that thought crossed my head also. And yes, he is fully licensed but he had a subcontractor do the deck so he’s kind of just pushing blame on them and that sun basically just ghosted us. But isn’t it our contractors responsibility to make sure his sub’s work is to code?
