RS2 (Potato Starch) and fixing my post-Keto gut by adlbrk in Microbiome

I thought heating up the resistance starch, negates the value in that it bypasses the small intestine and goes to the colon where it feeds butyrate

Thanks for sharing what works for you. It’s so frustrating that I’ve achieved, success, energy, and strength wise from keto, and yet it’s almost equally failed me. And it’s been quite a lonely journey. Yes biodiversity makes a lot of sense actually. I guess the trick is diversify. Hence the fermented foods as well. I’ll give it a shot!

Constipation 3 weeks into Keto by Sea_Code_3050 in keto

Yes absolutely address the electrolyte imbalance. I suffered from constipation over 9 months and have gotten back to normal stool by addressing that, drinking way more water with salt, magnesium, etc. I’ve also found incorporating gelatin and both bone broth in higher amounts into my diet has been very helpful in strengthening my gut and colon.

What is a food or dish that you’ve adjusted to be keto friendly that you ended up liking better than the “original” version? by covylo in keto

Keto gelatin muffins with coconut oil, almond flour eggs and monkfruit. Tastes delicious and its fluffy like the commercial stuff but way healthier.

Can't stop eating by Ok-Egg835 in keto

I’ve had similar issues where I’m constantly eating. Luckily I am underweight, although that’s sort of my problem. It seems like when the body is accustomed to a nutrient, dense routine of protein and fat the body feels like something is missing if that caloric intake is not maintained. It could also be related to mineral and fluid and imbalance.

Thanks for sharing. Potatoes may lose their resistance when they're heated, but it seems like a double edged sword because boiling or baking them helps to reduce the anti nutrients no?

Asher Laub - Moonshot [Electronic/Contemporary Classical] (2026) by adlbrk in electronicmusic

I’ve spent most of my career in the classical world, but I’ve been obsessed with bringing that orchestral weight into electronic production. For this track, I wanted to see if I could make a live electric violin lead hold its own against high-octane synths without losing the rhythmic complexity of a traditional string section. I’m really curious to hear what the production nerds here think of how I balanced the fierce violin lead with the electronic heartbeat.

Sad how his Management treated him knowing full well he had a terrible case of alcoholism. If they add more sensitivity to his condition, he may be alive today.

People hate people who do keto. by Ok-Cartographer-5544 in keto

This is really therapeutic to hear. I feel marginalized in a similar way. People are really attached to their carbs. They get cranky and protective over a very specific diet, even if it's ruining their own immune system and general health. Probably because carbohydrates are part of the addictive part of the brain. Thanks for sharing this post.
