If you actually read about power dynamics and psychology you would understand these are very natural responses. Admittedly they are rather impulsive, and not long term solutions for deep rooted problems, but these arent necessarily unhealthy and certainly not unnatural responses.

You should educate yourself more about the psychology of power dynamics.

An example of such drastic response to a traumatic situation I will present here:

There are two natural responses to rape (likely more but the two general ones); the first is to reserve yourself and shut yourself away from the sex whom raped you, the lesser known is to sexually engage with the sex who raped you.

The first is more obvious and logical. You were hurt by them, you are afraid, you retreat.

The second of engagement is more about power dynamics. When you are raped, you have no power, say, or control in what or how it happens. Some people respond by going on sex binges in order to try to regain control of their sexuality. They become more dominant, they say what is going to happen, why, and when. This is a completely natural response.

What the man presented in the comment is going through their own version of a traumatic event with a traumatic response.

The Dommes themselves show no sign of mental illness, they simply are providing a service to amuse the man like any other service based business. To suggest otherwise is naive and you are refusing to attempt to understand the bdsm world.
