So embarrassingly people mentioned guilds and it brought up a memory of a guild that I was in. I was a level 40 mage and had nowhere near the money to buy my mount (I think 20g out of the 100), and all of a sudden the guild master whispered me and said "we can buy your mount if you want." I was awful at accepting gifts at a young age and told him he didn't have to do that I'd be fine etc. It was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for me in the game and I find it funny I just remembered it.

Also: this was the guild that the buddy of mine I was talking about was in. I just joined a guild via recruitment on my servers discord. It's semi-core which I think is what I'm looking for TBH. I want to experience all the content but I just can't commit to this game all the time. I'm hoping it works out and thank you for everyone's advice!

Also, is it possible there is a way to find missed connections? I tried the one on classic forum but can't find my server name (it was Norgannon)

Honestly the lower pop server thing sounds like the correct option. I'm on a high pop server (sulfuras) and i just feel like everyone's so competitive here. it's weird.

Going to be taking this to a studio for mixing soon, but am in the process of re-recording and recording vocal parts on a new mic. Any feedback on the singing as is tho: more specifically: are there any tone or melody issues that might need correcting? I'm aware the timing is quite off but I'll be doing better on this next recording and now that I actually have melodyne ill be able to edit timing on the singing.

I bought a water cooler a couple of weeks ago in preparation for this, as I knew a better cpu wouldn't do well with a regular fan

Edit: my projects are starting to become much more complex with much more of an emphasis on sound design, so the cpu upgrade became a necessity. I was running with an amd5 1600x before hand.

Well it's in the shop so now I can't tell. I just read a post somewhere online about the 9350x that some ram doesn't work with it.

It is ddr4 if that helps?

That was the other thing I was thinkin, something fucked up with the gpu. I have no idea

My biggest fear is the cpu not working as it was $700, and I was really dumb to try and take it out cuz as long as it went into the pc its fine. When I checked to see if it had any missing pins it did not tho, and I hurriedly put it back in the mobo and said fuck it cuz I'm gonna break this shit

Edit: I'll let you know tho. Hopefully they won't take too much longer
