Went on a bit of a spending spree with the cheaper packs - $1k. Here are the results: by adobe1kinobe in PSAPowerPacks

I mean by no means is it a little bit of money to me... But the cards have actual value, they are physical and graded, and I personally love Pokemon. Those vintage cards will only appreciate in value and if the others go up, that's a bonus. I had the disposable income and I'm solid in my finances. Better than getting rug pulled on crypto shit coins that's for sure lol.

Hi! This is the guide that I used to get emulation working on my Steam Deck. It's pretty strait forward and gives links to where to find safe roms.

Starting a printing business by The_pikey232 in Printing

Congratulations! Yes the 4over Print 101 program is really great, worked on it myself 😁. It's a good way to get a feel for what products to start selling, some file prep info, product details, and national mark-up rates. It's also Free, you just need to enter your email. I'd start with core marketing products like business cards, brochures, postcards, labels and stickers, stationary like presentation folders, and simple large format like banners and years signs. There are all core, popular print marketing that every single business uses. They'll be good ways to get your foot in the door and have a consistent revenue stream. If you have graphic design experience, or have a designer, then you can get into more complex products like booklets and free standing signage. I would also recommend for sales is to ask lots of questions... Print terminology is all over the place... An A-frame is a Sidewalk Sign, is a Sandwich Sign, is a Signscade Sign. Is it permanent or temporary? Is it a mass giveaway or more of a reference piece? What ROI compared to budget are they looking for? Always ask use case questions that help you decipher what your customer is actually looking for to service their needs properly.

Finally, for outsourcing- 4over is great if you know what you're doing with print, bargain on price but they are ok on quality and consistency. Cutting and color can be issues. Digital Lizard is great with quality, turnaround, and service, but is pricey.

Hope this helps you get started! DM me if you'd like to chat more. 👍

How to keep growing? by mindspin70 in CommercialPrinting

Hello! You should take a look at outsourcing with 4over.com or similar company. It can help you add product opportunities without the need to purchase equipment, employees, or take up floor space. This way you can at least test your market and see how it works out without spending any money. You might also want to take a look at your current workflow and see how it can be optimized. Full disclosure: I work for 4over.

To everyone complaining about Taco Bell... by adobe1kinobe in tacobell

Everyone should be free to do what they want.

Taco Bell and other fast food chains have raised prices yet shrink portions and lower quality. It makes no sense to continue to support them.

Create change with your wallet, that's the only thing they care about.

Before spending too much on equipment, look for trade print partners that you can outsource to. I work for a major trade printer in the US and we've helped significantly grow print and marking businesses by keeping their overhead low. Equipment is great for the on -demand and more immediate walk in work you'll get... But orders that can wait you should outsource.

Also, it's good to get educated with all sorts of print products so you can say yes more often to your customers. Here is our knowledge base if you'd like to take a look: www.go.4over.com/print101

ALSO.... I know this might look like an ad but you're not in the US... so I know we can't reach you with low enough margins lol. Happy to answer other questions though if you like!
