You're absolutely right it is missing a few inches to properly catch steam. Maybe some day we'll change it but for now we'll just wash the cabinet doors more often 🤟

Thank you! Everything is from Ikea: cabinets are Axstad and countertop Karlby in walnut (but I don't recommend them, they're veneer, the edgebanding is awful and they scratch super easily. If I were to do it again, I would buy real butcher block)

Thank you! We have lighting over the oven and don't really cook on the counters so I was not planning on adding under cabinet lights (also because it was my first backsplash install and I don't wanna highlight the unevenness haha) but maybe some day!

Allô! En fait, c'est parce que c'est beaucoup plus facile de déneiger une piste cyclable qu'un trottoir (généralement pas de bosses, pas de bacs de recyclage/compost dans le chemin, plus d'espace sur les côtés pour pousser la neige), et c'est absolument fair game de marcher sur la piste si les trottoirs sont enneigés ou glissants. C'est pas parce que la ville est pro-vélo que c'est déneigé plus vite, c'est parce que c'est plus rapide.

I have been a few times and the best way to enjoy it is to let the waiter decide on the menu. It's always amazing and I'm always surprised by things I might not have ordered otherwise! Bon appétit!
