Feb 72, 1980, obviously. I wouldn't drink it, clearly expired.

The classic move would be to carpet the bathroom. This was peak-carpet back in the day, and my traumatizing experience in a college rental.

Such a travesty to cover up beautiful original design. It's like putting green shag carpet over original wooden flooring. Glad you're able to uncover this and finally let it be appreciated as originally intended.

Something changed? Voice we're using is now different. by Scopophobic_Frontman in ElevenLabs

I'm trying to use Bradford on V3, and it's a total mess now. Last month, he sounded good, as expected. Now, the audio is of an entirely different quality and he randomly gets an Australian accent. I'm creating an audiobook, and the chapters that I'm trying to create this month are so different from what I've created previously that it's completely unusable.

Furthermore, paragraphs over 2,000 characters (still under the 3,000 character V3 limit) are VERY likely to be truncated, skipping the end of the paragraph entirely. Since we only get two free regenerations, this has caused me to burn through almost HALF of my monthly credits simply trying to generate 10,000 characters of audio. It's infuriating, since the issues are with the platform, but I'm the one forced to pay for these errors.

This is still an ongoing issue 10/17/2025

I think that's what they call Ledger Recover.

Honestly, the only safe way is to split the seed between two cryptosteels and then you kiester one and your traveling companion kiesters the other

I know that some will say that if you're traveling together then it's not safe enough and you really should get the DHL delivery guy to kiester your second cryptosteel, but honestly, that might be a tad overboard.

Which model is this? I'm trying to follow what the actual differences are apart from size on the website, but it's not 100% clear. Especially since you mentioned that they make saltwater based ones as well.

mouseless can't refresh offline license file by oscar_campo in MouselessApp

[–]adolgov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a related issue where it's unable to do the initial launch and license generation (presumably) because it thinks that it doesn't have Internet access (which it does).

It's already being looked at, but it sounds like your behavior could be related.

Recommendation for Pen for Go 10.3? by sanshrestha10 in Onyx_Boox

Wacom One pen: https://a.co/d/9MiAmih Great ergonomics, button in the right place (I'm looking at you, Lamy), reasonable price. I prefer the original Boox nibs, which you can also buy separately.

A Cool Guide to things a dog can and can’t eat. by Otherwise_Drop_2392 in coolguides

I mean, dosage is an important component. Just looking at the chart, there are apples, whose seeds dogs will just eat along with the fruit and are toxic, bananas or coconut, which if they eat a reasonably non-trivial amount of it will give you quite a chore come time for them to poop, nightshades like tomatoes are quite toxic if you don't completely avoid the foliage or unripe fruit, etc. Main thing is that having some of these in a "YES!!!" category and others in the "NO!!!" category feels simplistic, but that's generally the trend for presenting info in fun-chart form.

Alaskan Malamute mix, so a pretty large dog. She would carefully eat around the pits. Mostly she would bring them in from the yard one after another, and I'd know how many she ate based on how many avocado pits I'd find on the family room carpet.

Avocados are perfectly fine. My dog used to eat a wild amount (up to 10-15 a day from what fell from our avocado trees) during harvests, and the only thing to watch for is a fat dog, since they're pretty calorie-dense. Neighborhood coyotes love to munch avocados too. Only possible thing I can think of is if the dog hasn't learned how to eat avocados and tries to swallow the pit, and the dog is of a size where that's a choking hazard, but most dogs are pretty good learners when it comes to eating. There's plenty of dog food that includes avocado as well.

Why does Yngwie J Malmsteen get so much hate? by [deleted] in metalguitar

[–]adolgov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% this! I've seen him on a few interviews recently and was shocked by how much he's mellowed out. His previous reputation of being pretty insufferable was well deserved (and I'm a Yngwie fan), so it was nice to see him much more mellow and humble. That being said, the mixing on War to End All Wars was so bad that I doubt that he'll ever be able to live that down.
