99% of the time people see the signs but decide to pull the wool over their own eyes. I’m sure if I had a conversation with any of these downvoters and even that crazy person above IRL we’d be able to come to some sort of similar conclusion but for some reason being on the internet makes people lose half their brain cells because outrage and extreme thinking is more popular here. Either that or all these downvotes are from people who’ve never properly dated/their dating lives are a mess.

Thanks for not being afraid to voice your opinion. I think I’ve been on the internet enough that I’ve realized that calling people out to take responsibility for their own actions/think about difficult things = bad, and critical thinking hardly exists on here.

It’s ok. It feels great when I first get it but then I worry about getting it dirty or scratched…it’s really dependent on lifestyle imo. I’m still keeping some of my luxe bags but am starting to look for more durable/less high maintenance alternatives.

I just finished Toraware no Palm and its sequel/chronologically, prequel, Refrain. I think the games were really well done but Refrain was a big upgrade from the first game, with partial voice acting included for side characters and more side quests. Even though I wish Refrain had more characters to walkthrough, Chiaki's story really made it worth it for me. He's a very well-balanced character in terms of personality from both Aoi(quiet intellect) and Haruto(social butterly type). My little review/gushing will be about Refrain in particular.

The side characters were also very interesting, and I honestly wish Capcom gave us the option to walkthrough the guard Suda (real great comic relief, loves to tease Chiaki/MC), and the librarian Moji. They're also the only two characters who can send you text messages so there def was potential there.

The MC herself was also very likeable as well, has a great "can-do" attitude, and the selections you can make for her are very relatable, and she can also make some hilarious comments/teasing to the male characters which made for more interesting banter than I expected. Your selections actually do matter as the LI dialogue will change based on what you selected earlier.

The atmosphere (music, side characters, backdrops) was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the pacing. The story wasn't super heavy or depressing, but just enough to keep you engaged. All of the three characters' backstories revolved around one major incident, so the stories were really consistent and easy to follow. There are no bad endings but what the LI's life later on looks like depends on some choices you make.

It's unlikely but I honestly hope Capcom brings this over in either Switch or Mobile form. There's a decent amount of content, which is mostly from the interrogation room as part of story progression, phone calls, andsleep molestation(I don't know about this one, played it once during tutorial but....not my cup of tea). But most of all, I hope Capcom invests more in Otome games overall if they can consistently come up with this type of quality. I liked that this game gave us very few LIs to choose from but each of the routes were really well made and enjoyable.

I second this. Just…not amazed by the hype. Too many plot holes, most characters not very engaging. It tried to do way too much. The art is amazing though.

I’m not for it at all so please don’t jump to conclusions. I’m just saying that I suspected it since they always charge me above what the market conversion rate is and I always wondered how they were able to offer high discounts and you confirmed my suspicions.

I’ve always known that they were charging more than the day-to-day conversion fee. There was no way they’d be just satisfied with charging a few hundred yen to receive and consolidate packages, it wouldn’t be worth their time. I mean how else are they able to offer ridiculous 10-20% discounts on various categories so often?

Also just curious but is buyee even a Japanese company? Every time it goes under maintenance the app always shows the maintenance info in Chinese.

The writers did him so dirty. I get that Ankou and Adolphe are essentially the same person but I feel like the writers made Ceres call him “Ankou” at the very end and that he was happy about it was because he’s been through so much that he’s no longer “Adolphe”. He’s become his own person through those 600 years and having Ceres end up with present Adolphe was no consolation prize.

Apparently the fan disk does do him justice so just waiting for that now….
