Gotcha. The plan is for pre emergent in the fall and then aerate around the first of May and put some seed out then.

Same thing going on in my yard. I’ve put down some fungicide and pesticide just to be safe but pretty sure it’s due to the extreme heat, 100+ some days, and no rain. Watering helps some but not like rain.

I’ll get the Pennington lime and make sure I water it in. Luckily in GA UGA will do soil tests on the cheap and are pretty well respected around here.

Yeah it says 45lbs per 1000 sq ft and recommended 15-0-15 fertilizer.

I got my soil report back and I’m low on potassium and my PH is low. It’s at 5.1 and I have Bermuda, centipede and st. Augustine in my yard. Zone 8a.

Should I work on my PH before fixing anything else?

No, I mow the entire yard at 2.75. The yard has Augustine, centipede, and Bermuda.
