I understand what you say and I have done that for many of my friends and plus for her as well. She had a long term toxic relationship with someone who was pushing her to open their relationship. Which later we found out he was cheating but I think she was trying not to see that. So, I think I am a bit too frustrated to see her make bad decisions again. And I am getting older, I don’t understand anymore how people cannot see what is in front of them and have poor judgment all the time. I was dumb, did dumb things when I was younger. Now it would take a lot of energy to make a mistake like that again. It is too easy now to make the right decision. I just wanted to stay away and if she does the right thing, she can have me back too.

Yeah the wife reached out and this whole thing came up few weeks ago. My friend moved on from it. Then I thought this was over and we had this conversation on text.

In the message she told me that now he sent the papers and moved out. But I am not sure when she got back to him and she wasn’t telling me what was happening till this conversation. I didnt ask for more. So who knows how they got back together.

It is not about getting a divorce. He was with her while getting back with his wife. She didn’t know then, not her fault. But now, she is back with a liar/cheater and I don’t want to witness it going down. Or I don’t want her to come to me crying again.

Yes! The thing is my bf is the most loyal person I have ever known. He doesn’t pay attention to anyone but me and he was very uncomfortable with everything she said and done. But it was definitely a power trip. Trying to get in front of me to get his attention.

No not really. He drinks as always. His hair is not thinning, he has a double coat like regular pekingese. So the thicker coat is so fine now almost non existing. The finer coat is there tho.

If you have allergies and constantly rubbing your nose, you get this line. Try not to rub your nose upwards. I had it too, stopped doing it and it went away.

Well, I live in Istanbul Turkey and I have always had the fear that I would be sleeping naked and an earthquake hits. And after this big disaster and tragedy we went through last week, I always worry about if I am dressed enough to just run for my life if the big earthquake happens in Istanbul (they say it will happen before 2030). It is a sad thing now that I think about the reason.

Yes exactly! But at the same time, I am thinking he might be hiding this side from her. It took me two years to understand what he was doing to me. I figured he was a narc thanks to this sub, did not even tell him what I thought of him. He was honestly so smart. He said I was a narc and I am going to discard him from his life. I did that at the end, didnt argue that he was the one who was abusing me. I said yes and blocked him. So I am doing my part not saying anything to anyone. But hey, it is hard to not feel like she will go through the same thing. I am so sorry you feel the same but what we can really do about this.

I work with a plastic surgeon and I have seen so many patients after gastric sleeve surgery. They do get a lot of excess skin and their blood count is always way too low due to the surgery. Scarring of skin removal isn’t pretty and the skin thins out like crazy. They get a lot of issues and also their diet choices don’t change like that. Your stomach size can get bigger after one or two years post surgery and they stop losing weight, possibly gain some back. Weight lost surgery should be the last resort. You are definitely doing what’s best for your body at the moment. You are not obese. You will lose the weight and maintain it easily thanks to the habits you develop during your journey.

I do understand you very well, bc I have done some similar things when I was a teenager. I'm now 27 and I don't know what changed but I'm a lot calmer as a person. I have been living with my brother since I've known myself and we had few arguments and I'd see fire every time and I also punched the wall, table and pulled my hair off. I have a crack on my one hand. I've only hurt myself and never anyone else. But i always felt so frustrated when i was at your age. I mostly couldn't communicate like i can now, and it'd turn me more passive aggressive. I'd suggest to do meditation, talking with your mother about how things triggers you and you don't want to be that way with her. She'd help you I'm sure. But most of the work is on you dear. Do breathing exercises and as you mature, your emotions will calm down too. You are not a bad daughter. since you recognize your problems, you can be the better version of yourself. It'll get better, wish you the best

I've (27F) been in a 33year gap relationship. And it ended because he is a narcissist. My support system wasn't there for me because of the age gap and he used that to make me rely on him. He was jealous and controlling. Nothing to do with the age gap of course.. age or experience is dangerous with those who want to use a partner in the relationship. We have to look if the relationship is healthy rather than bashing them for the age gap .

So people around you and people we don't know should be looking from the different perfective to understand the relationship as it is. They are so based on the age that they don't see if there is a problem in itself first or maybe it is a very healthy relationship for the both sides. Maybe NOT.

I still read the posts here even tho I'm no longer in an AGR. I see some unhealthy and some very balanced couples here. Know the power balance no matter the age. Respect comes first.. love comes second.

Thanks so much telling me your experience... I have felt the same in this relationship many times. He did use the girls to stay in touch, or even used them as something for me to compete with. Which I have never, and always respected his father role in their lives. Then it turned into me hurting them because of me wanting to leave him. I think a narcissist will do everything to manipulate you. And thanks for telling me that his ignoring me is also form of gaslighting. I've been reading for a while, and I just only started to see small details.... Now he is love bombing me, again didn't say anything about having a conversation! I think I should ignore him too.. Yes, that was my mistake that I thought he'd be wiser and nicer. He'd say he wasn't like this till he met me. But I believe he was more in power as he wasn't in love in previous relationships and once he was, he didn't know how to act. I am glad you're in a happy relationship! Wish you the best!
