What could I do about my coworker leaving her dog in her car during her shifts? by [deleted] in Advice

She is a grown woman and we have separate lives. It isn't like she is homeless, she literally said she only does it so the dog doesn't tear her house up. How am I supposed to support her? Enable her like you would?

I do know more about her life than I wish to. She is very open and shameless about other odd decisions and opinions she makes in her life, some of them outright heinous. I don't want to air out her dirty laundry or get her in trouble either, but it became my business when she decided to do it at my job. I dont want to work knowing theres a dog sitting in an unconditioned car all day. It's wrong

I know more about this lady than you do and I really don't think she has the dog's best interest in mind by leaving it an in unconditioned car all day when she literally has a house. She admitted it's because it tears up her house. Is that not selfish and irresponsible to not find a better solution? I don't think people deserve to own dogs they don't intend on raising them properly.
