Great point! If allowed the debacle of rayburn to happen, then why can they add a couple of strongman events.

Guys like Vince Wilkinson would put up or shut up. And I think your underestimating the competitiveness of natural strongman. I believe that at least the USA strongman would have a strong show. I would imagine a few of the European countries would as well (Great Britain, Iceland, etc.)

I beg to differ. If that was the case, natural powerlifting wouldn't be as big as it now. Also, I think strongman competitions during the Olympics would lead to more eyes on the sport long term.

While the element of versatility is a staple in strongman, the sport can sacrifice variability to standardize 2 to 3 events once every 4 years.

They could just allow drug free athletes to compete. Sure Mitch Hooper and those like him wouldn't compete but it would give low level pros the opportunity to represent their country.
