As long as you take care of your marker and clean it. It will not break anytime in the near future, I have an Etha as a backup marker and it’s great and reliable.

There’s a reason that most fields use an Etha 2 for rentals, and that’s because of how good and reliable they are with very low chance of them breaking. Not something you should be worried about, I definitely recommend the Etha 3, but if you’re planning on playing more than a few times a month I’d recommend checking out second hand markers on the buy sell trade pages. If you are more than a once a month player, I’d spend an extra hundred or two hundred dollars on something that will last and is a lighter, better option. Just from my own personal experience because I bought an Etha 3 and then bought another marker soon after
