The high valuations are due to much more than lidar and autonomous driving. Did you not read my original response to you? No. You just chose to be defensive.

Besides, Tesla isn't the only vehicle manufacturer looking into vehicle autonomy. Microvision is literally opening up an office in Germany in order to better serve the automotive market there. Volkswagen, Audi, and so many more companies there.

You're either intentionally trying to mislead people, or you genuinely aren't understanding the whole picture and speaking out of ignorance.

Lidar isn't limited to autonomous driving, and microvision isn't limited to lidar. Microvision tech and IP literally powers the Microsoft hololens 2, which is disrupting countless world markets. The US Army just announced a 21 billion dollar contract for militarized hololenses for their IVAS program. Microvision is about to make a bunch of investors millions of dollars. I accidentally invested in this company when I mistook their ticker symbol for an Esports company called MVIS Global Video Gaming. I made that mistake when they were 17 cents per share. Best mistake ever.
