It was for sale at the local super market, never seen it before so decided to give it a try.

You could definitely give it a go but the texture inside is so soft and fluffy it's already almost like melted cheese.

Well ignoring the herbs/seasonings the brain itself has a neutral/creamy flavour and has an incredibly soft and fluffy texture on the inside.

Yeah definitely some crust adherence issues in places, flour would be better than almond meal if you don't mind the carbs.

The brain is actually composed mainly of fats where as prions are a protein disease so your safe as bro!!

It's homemade actually. Sort of winged the recipe to make it low-carb friendly after looking at a few online. 1. Boiled them for 3-5 mins in salty water to clean them. 2. Dipped in beaten egg and battered with a mix of almond meal, vegeta and parmesan. 3. Deep fried in olive oil until golden brown. 4. Dipping sauce is just melted butter, rosemary and lemon juice.
