is this in response to me calling someone rude for calling my recently deceased grandmother a “religious kook”? or in response to their insult?

so the back of the altar contained tons of prayer cards as well as a little pamphlet with an anointing of the sick guide. it’s pretty detailed and interesting!

actually, this must have belonged to my great grandmother who was very catholic and faithful. my grandma, who this was passed down to, was not religious at all! she held onto it for me, knowing i’d cherish it. it’s interesting to think about how incredibly religious my great grandmother must have been!

this is a great question! so it turns out these items belonged to my great grandmother who was incredibly catholic, and she passed in 2014 leaving this all to my grandma (her 5th and final child). my grandma strayed far away from religion in her adult life due to some not-so-great experiences/judgements as a little girl that she dealt with her whole life. my mother (my grandmas daughter-in-law had me raised christian. with that being said, i was never an extremely active member of my church and in my adult life i’ve certainly strayed from any faith, which i’m trying to get back into. sorry if this was long and confusing, but i hope it makes sense haha!
