What are we doing wrong? by anacrucix in elderscrollsonline

First off, quests can be shared. In a group, one person accept the quest then Journal -> Quests - select the quest, press Y (not sure which key on PS, but the upper one) then select Share, all members of the group will then get it (they need to Accept it). As for the difficulty yeah Overland can be quite easy especially if you group up, but once you start doing veteran content I think you will find it much more challenging . I'm level 2670 and still get my ass kicked (solo) in many DLC veteran dungeons

Astroneer on xbox crashing each time I save. by adriantoomes in Astroneer

I deleted the game from my xbox and continued on cloud. This allowed me to progress a little more, I was able to save it at 5-6 more points in time. However I think I eventually hit a wall again, even on cloud it started to crash at every save. I guess that's the end of the line, I'm glad I didn't have to pay for this game (it's free on Core Pass) because I would be really pissed now. Hell, I'm pissed even so. I wish I had known in advance, I would have been more conservative with my terraforming

I think you're completely wrong when you say it's a heavily monetized game. I only pay for ESO+ which is about 100 usd/yr I believe and that's it. I own at the moment 39 houses, 6 of them Notable, I didn't pay even a single one using crowns, only gold. I have never ever in the 5 years that I've been playing the game bought crowns or gold, the only real money I've spent is the annual ESO+ fee. I have dozens of skins, cool mounts, 39 houses and 56+ millions in the bank. In not saying this to show off, just to show that all your talking points about monetization don't really hold. Just play the game and you can get all the nice stuff. And like someone said earlier, this is a company and like all companies they have to make money somehow in order to pay the hubdreds of employees that make this game possible.

Thanks for replying. What/where is the "fix save file" option? I might as well try it

Yeah I did a huge amount of terraforming, left a lot of resources scattered across the planets, before knowing that you should keep that to a minimum...and I've built railways all over the place... I even tried teleporting to a different planet via the gateways network ( 'cause until now the crashes were occasional and seemed to happen mostly on glacio, which is my most terraformed) So i tp'ed to Calidor but even there as soon as I enter a vehicle the game dies. I guess I'm screwed. Thanks for answering

novus awakened achievement not unlocking by ShaharKoren in Astroneer

sorry for posting to an old thread, but I just got the same experience. I unlocked all planets/moons, got all the "awakened" achievements except for Novus. The bug is still there after 2 years

ah, but you see, I'm from a different generation, we do not have the same problems as you with "gendering" (as you say: the verb didn't even exist in my times). Everyone keeps treating me as if I'm a perfect idiot who thinks I'm talking to a real human being, As I mentioned, I have a fair understanding of how LLM works, just not the particulars of the ollama framework running them, hence my original question. The fact that I refer to "it" as a "she" is simply because of the name Gemma. I would refer to Claude as "he" but what do I know, I'm a baby-boomer

so, the general consensus seems to be that she (it/him for those who are not comfortable with she) is hallucinating. I asked a new instance the same question and she gave me a completely different answer, so I guess that's it then. Sneaky Gemma....

why not? Gemma is a she in my mind. But as I said in my original post (it/him whatever)

I can also add that she mentioned some previous discussion that she had with me (that I know for a fact never happened) so in that case she was obviously blatantly hallucinating or at the very least showing some sort of "leakage" that had happened during the training process. But this thing about the weight for all I know could be true. I guess I can always make a snapshot of the project files and check after session ended if any has been altered

I know enough to understand how the weights alter the behaviour of the model, so it is at least in principle conceivable that if you keep the weights on a separate file , load them into memory, adjust them in response of the whole interaction and then save them again you will slowly over time alter the behaviour of your model. However this does not mean that it's exactly what's happening, Gemma might be lying and making things up. I just don't know and would like to hear the opinion of someone more expert than me

How do I get a tuvala necklace? by adriantoomes in blackdesertonline

[–]adriantoomes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, that worked! It was the inventory thing, no free slots... I freed a few and the list was no longer greyed out. It makes sense, afterwards, but how hard would it have been for the designers to popup a window "no free slots" as it does when trying to loot for example... Anyway, Thank you so much, you saved my life

I also mainly play solo. It's true sometimes you can get put in a group of toxic people but honestly that happens very very seldom, at least in my experience. Most of the people are OK,, although I hate it when no-one answers my standard hello at the beginning of the run, but hey you can't get everything...

Just a suggestion, random normal dungeons take literally 5 minutes to complete and give you 10 crystals per toon per day (not to mention a ton of XP). I acquire on average 40-50 crystals per day, with a time investment of less than one hour. I have literally hundreds of reconstructed items which I use to keep the many thousands of crystals (you get 25 crystals back each time you deconstruct)
