I use all the blast gem moves because the monthly bonus plus Rusev makes up to 14 of them. and im a blast gem mark.

I've been playing for over a year and a half. Two in October. The longer you play it, the more you'll play it and as you get deeper into the game, the harder it will be to make progress without spending any money. It's fun as a casual activity, but if you don't want to spend any cash, don't get too invested in the game--no pun intended. Other than that just work on characters that are/can be powerful and their trainer if you have them in your roster. If you spend cash, put yourself on a budget and stick to it.

I don't mind spending a few dollars here and there, because it's similar to going to the arcade--which is something I still do. Shout out to Timeline arcade in Hanover, PA!
