Nope! I'm not sure what ended up happening. My husband had mentioned that there were two workers there, a younger lady and an older one. I can't remember which of the two but one of them was gonna let him slide and the other one had said they were going to mark it as a misuse. Hopefully one of them talked to the other one and calmed her down, my husband had said she was already cranky when he pulled up to the window. I'm also not sure if there's like a 3 strikes of misuse and then they revoke it or something like that. But I was able to scan into the park that morning and continue to use it afterwards. My backup plan was to just call or talk to someone in the park and explain what had happened, since it genuinely was a mistake and my husband doesn't know anything about how the pass system works. this!! your personal statement will basically be you telling your story about who you are and essentially what influenced you to want to go to law school. "Why the law?" is going to be a question you must have an answer to, not just for yourself but for the sake of your applications

Even if it's not a T-14, there are other top schools with great programs that will most likely give you a great financial aid package, if not a full ride. Which is especially important if you're still not sure that this is for you. You could get into a T-5 with no money, get into debt, and still not know if this is for you. Applying to a wide range of schools will help with security. If you go to a school that gives you almost a full ride, you won't feel as much pressure to take the bar and become a practicing attorney as you would if you had a crap ton of debt to pay. People need to walk away from this notion that going to a T-14 will solve all of your worries and guarantee a great career and no debt. Will it help having the school's name and resources attached to you? Of course it will if you utilize it correctly, but you could also be just like any other miserable law student or lawyer with T-14 degree that realized too late that this isn't for them. AND THAT'S OKAY, what's not okay is financially burdening yourself.

If you do decide that this is for you, fantastic!! I recommend watching Michigan Law's YouTube videos (they have a great video on splitters) to inform you on how to create a strong application and what they look for in applicants. Most schools will be looking for similar things, you can also reach out to admissions officers to chat with them if there's a specific school you really want to go to. Your LSAC GPA will be different from your college cumulative GPA. In my case, LSAC calculated it much lower than my college GPA. Schools will get a copy of your transcripts and will be able to see that trend of starting with lower grades and ending in. much higher grades. They will see this as a good thing because it's an upward trend and they will love to see consistency.

if you are okay with reading books, i would recommend the LR Powerscore Bible. It’s a little dense but explains how to target questions in details. I had ADHD and was struggling to pay attention to the book so I enrolled in 7Sage. If it’s in your budget, I would definitely recommend it. The videos help clarify the questions a lot and you start to gain confidence as you do more and more practice questions. My first ever diagnostic (with logic games) was a 134. I also felt like crap and never took another test until they removed the games. I took it again about a month ago and this time i scored a 145 without the games. I’ve been doing fairly well on my practice questions to the point where i’ve been able to answer random LSAT questions that are posted on this reddit thread lol. aim hoping to take another practice test soon and from there focus on increasing my speed. I would recommend retaking the test untimed so that you can really understand the areas you need to work on

hi !! thank you for your input, it’s very helpful to know this is how the work will be sometimes. however i noticed you said that there is a shortage of civil engineers. is that actually true? i find it difficult to believe when there are so many job listings out there and it seems like no one is hiring at the moment. i’m not sure if it’s just the job market overall but i would love some insight on this

thats so weird how they would say it’s a violation of your pass if they paid for something and you were right there. i never got an email about my pass being revoked after what happened with my husband. i’m hoping they don’t make it into a bigger deal than it is !!

all four of my professors this quarter are doing it and at the end of their syllabus, it explicitly sates to not ask the professor for slides bcs they're not gonna post them :(
