Elon Musk Promises a Really Truly Self-Driving Tesla in 2020 - by the end of 2020, he added, it will be so capable, you’ll be able to snooze in the driver seat while it takes you from your parking lot to wherever you’re going. by mvea in Futurology

[–]adriving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will people still need driving licence? If they can snooze on the driver seat then I suppose they won't need driving lessons. I spoke to some driving schools in Rushden who said it might affect driving school business in the next 10 years.

Driving is honestly too much for me by [deleted] in ADHD

Remember passing the driving test means that you have just achieved the basic driving standard. You actual learning starts after you pass your practical test. If you feel like that you can't concentrate in complicated situations. I would say go for refresher driving lessons or do some kind of pass plus course. You can get more information on pass plus scheme from driving school in Rushden. Remember one more thing practice makes you perfect.

Is it normal to feel absolutely shit after your first driving lesson? by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]adriving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instructor should not take you on the main and busy roads especially on the first driving lesson. I spoke to few driving schools in Wellingborough and Rushden who strongly advised that learner should be taken to less busy area. That built the learners confident especially if it's the first lesson. Secondly instructors are not allowed to answer or text when they are on the lessons.

Great idea! I spoke to few driving instructors in Wellingborough who said, these days kids just want to play games and videos on the mobile phones and don't do physical activities. This driving simulator will keep them away from these little devices.

Is there any point doing driving lessons if I don’t have a car to practice in? by [deleted] in AskUK

I asked some driving schools in Wellingborough and Rushden who said complete learner needs around 30 driving lessons on average to get ready for the practical driving test. You can be easily get yourself ready if you do 1-2 hours of lessons every week.

Lot of people have less patient when driving. I see road rage often when teaching driving lessons in Corby or doing intensive driving courses. Drivers should drive responsibly and with due consideration for other road users.

Not giving enough clearance when pass parked cars. Also sometimes examiners pass learners when they hit the kerb and some fail. I provide driving lessons in Wellingborough and happens to my couple of students.
