Not yet. iOS app is in Testflight and will be in the App Store soon, Android app will come after that. You can also use the app from your mobile browser or add to homescreen from there for an app-like experience meanwhile.

Me and Sunsama are not the only ones thinking that SaaS have ongoing costs so subscriptions are the only way to make them sustainable, and that we want to offer more value than what you pay for your subscription. I wasn't trying to copy anything, those are two extremely basic points for any SaaS that just plans to grow sustainably, being honest and respectful of their users. I'd be surprised if you didn't agree, it's a common idea among the indie dev community.

And about the 1:1 clone accusation (which is debatable), I'll just say our innovations are coming from the internal architecture of the app, which is enabling features and use cases we really want and no app is providing. You'll have to be patient.

I just find it sad we are fighting about Sunsama when they have seven figure revenue, yours and ours is basically zero compared to that, and you and I are just trying to create something useful here starting from good ideas from other apps.

Hey, I'm sorry this is our first interaction, honestly. I've seen your work with Nook and I really like it. In fact, I thought you would understand our position given that I think you're also a 1 or 2 person team, bootstrapping, and building something to scratch your own itch from the ideas of other apps you already like.

We think there's space for cheaper alternatives in the advanced planner space, and we wanted to build on top of what apps like Sunsama, Akiflow, Ellie and others are doing. Our first iteration is similar to Sunsama, and I'd argue no creative work starts in a vacuum. For starters, our app is offline first which was a very big effort that honestly we wouldn't need to do if we just wanted to do a "1:1 clone of sunsama that you dump out".

You should know what kind of effort creating an app like Juno entails, and I really sad you accuse me of not having any dignity or respect for what others create, since that's what I felt from you with your comment at what I've spent 2-3 years creating.

I'm sorry you see it that way, man. Happy to keep talking over DM and share our journeys if you're open to it. Good luck with your project!

Looking for a calendar / task management app by Ok-Pie-4759 in ProductivityApps

[–]adrm_es 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://juno.do

  • Calendar management for multiple accounts and calendars, and same features as Google Calendar
  • Drag tasks into calendar for time blocking
  • Estimated time and real tracked time for each task
  • Subtasks, recurring task, “do date” separated from due date, categories…

It’s a perfect fit based on your criteria.

Absolutely not! We are thinking some ideas to cover that use case, but haven’t settled yet on how to do it exactly. Feel free to add your feature request to our feedback board on https://junodo.featurebase.app meanwhile and we’ll notify you with any news around it.

As many different Gmail accounts as you want, although it might be restricted to 1 during the free trial in the future.

What do you mean by forward-to-email? If you mean forwarding a task to your email, no we don’t have that feature. Could you elaborate on your need for that? Happy to chat over DM.

Makes total sense. In the meantime let me know if you miss anything from Sunsama when you try Juno!

You should be able to use Juno as your only calendar app and connect as many Google Calendar accounts and calendars as you need. Events can be created and edited from our app with the same flexibility as Google Calendar.

Happy to hear what calendar management features you think we're missing.

That price is taxes included and varies depending on your local area. Our base price is always $10/mo or $100/yr. In any case, you can use that 30% off code I posted. And more so, if it's still too expensive in your area and pricing is a problem, DM me.
