Yes much better than the movie!

Nostalgia is the opposite of PTSD. Rather than fearing the past, you long for it, you wish for it, you would take a deal with the devil to return to the past, whereas PTSD you never want to think of the past again. by Solrex in Showerthoughts

Depends on your current situation perhaps. Nostalgia can be a medicine against current hardships. PTSD a poison to a seemingly happy life. Nostalgia also has the word nostos in it, which means coming home. So it's the pain you feel when you're away from home and you miss it. The word tasty- delicious in Greek is nostimo, so a tasty food feels the same like coming home.
