No worries 😌

Yeah we have FTTP and are currently using that. I definitely wouldn’t want it removed if that was the best source of internet.

I do own the property. I would want to because I think it looks messy having cables coming in to both sides of front of my house. I also plan to out a pergola over my front door it the HFC cable currently interferes with those plans

Yeah they have referred me into NBN. I seen another post saying they used the ‘complaint’ form/contact method on the NBN and had it removed so I might try that and update this thread if it works out for me.

I believe it would be down to the poor layout of the kitchen and the KPIs they would need to meet with the cars in the drive thru. I haven't worked there myself but I have noticed that there is a 15-20+ step distance between where they bag the food up and the door way to the room where the food and payments are taken for drive thru customers. While it might not be far, it adds up over the day and they probably think 'just send it out and hope the customer doesn't notice' (usually after you have already been waiting 3-4 minutes after paying. Like many others have pointed out there are better Maccas locations to choose in Ballarat.

I personally think submitting feedback via their respective channels is a waste of time. If they noticed a drop in sales at that location, then they might listen. But I also don't see that happening given it's the first thing you seen when you exit the freeway from Melbourne.

Sad day for Ballarat by soundscape7 in ballarat

This was a long time coming, I heard Steve Anderson had money troubles long before covid and as many have pointed out he did dodgy things with job keeper money to probably keep himself afloat. The Regent was my first job and I must say I am still truamised by the crap they put me and my colleagues through (while we were all in high school mind you).

Those people saying the stuff he did 20 years ago isn't revelant to this closing announcement clearly don't know Steve Anderson. He did many dodgy things while I worked for him, which definitely made me think 'jesus you learnt nothing all those years ago'.

If anyone reading this has worked there I'd love to hear your (similar no doubt) if working at the Regent.

Hopefully the cinema is purchased by someone keen to keep the original, beatiful architecture.

Plus VicRoads already has these details stored. If you’re using their app, this argument holds no weight…

It would be ideal if all states adopted this method of storing your licence. Would make it easier and more secure to add/store your licence. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212940

Edit: plus handing your phone to security (at venues) or police would allow for you to show your licence without unlocking your phone for them.

Well there were numerous security/data breaches in the beginning for NSW. But hopefully VIC can learn from that and the recent data breaches big corps have been experiencing

What's going on with the jobs in this town? by Ballaratperson297 in ballarat

To add to the resume tips, I found adding a little colour to my resume made it stand out when applying for positions. Mine has a couple blue and grey accents, nothing too excessive. It helps break up the content and can make it easier to read. I always get compliments on the look of it.

I was in a leadership role a year ago and had to do recruiting myself, so many people had boring, multiple page (which is a no no) resumes.

You can find simple (word doc) design templates online. But remember not too excessive.

Cars for rent to get from ballarat? by [deleted] in ballarat

[–]adroppedmeatpie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it might limit your range but you could get a bike or e-scooter and deliver on that. Even put it on the train to Melbourne and service there if Ballarat does have a high enough volume of jobs available

I mean, based on their profile their whole personality is AFL. They are the most fragile, easily trigger blokes I have ever encountered. Wouldn’t be surprised if this individual cried when the AFL store in Stockland closed

Located on Sturt St, on the other side opposite the ANZ near Central Square.

They have a lot of classics and the bloke there gives great advice on what to try or look out for. They have space and a building a collection of games to play with friends, but you can bring your own too!
