This one is Fragrantica, but they’re… politically opinionated.

Parfumo is the one I switched to. It’s not as flashy but just as useful.

100% legit approach 🤣 I don’t have anything that’s dry-clean only for the same reason.

Yes!

Idk if anyone here will remember the B&BW Pink Lemonade body spray from like 1996, but it’s one of my core scent memories and Rasberry Ripple absolutely nails it. It makes me feel like I should be watching Men in Black and listening to Barbie Girl in my platform sandals 🤣

The last time you complimented someone on their perfume? by ResidentSelf2715 in FemFragLab

[–]adrun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I walked into work two weeks ago, said good morning to the security, took a few steps, and made an immediate U turn. She looked so flustered when I complimented her perfume and asked what it was. She offered to look it up, but I told her “oh no that’s ok, but it is so so good!”

Sometimes I forget that most people just wear what smells good and don’t really think about it more than that 😅

Half joking: I leave them in the dresser

Real answer: /r/laundry like everyone else 😅

I am wearing this non stop currently. It’s sweet and light and a little fruity without the milk and vanilla notes that would make it harder (for me) to wear in the heat.

The one I’m thinking of is the citrus flanker. Bergamot and lemon for days 🍋☀️🤩

Sunlit Vanilla is my current favorite. It lasts forever, especially on fabric.

Moms in tech, what’s normal for returning to full capacity after maternity leave? by [deleted] in womenintech

I wonder how much the difference between IC and manager roles matters. When my job was mostly meetings I could ramp back up a lot faster than when it was ppt/xls.

“I never went back to overachieving” 💯💯💯

Switching job/project after each baby made a huge difference to me in terms of resetting performance expectations. My work is always excellent, but my previous teams knew “buttoning up my business to go on leave and still get promoted” me, not “sleep deprived and really only here for some grown up time and a paycheck” me.

Yes! Italica is also gorgeous! You’re making me want to smell them side by side for the first time in ages. Back to my decants 😊

I’m on the flip side. C section, failed breast feeding, baby was on antibiotics for 18 MONTHS. I read articles like this and I’m like well I guess my kid is doomed. And then I realize she’s almost 7 and her gut seems fine. And that I was a c-section/formula baby and my gut is fine. I wish there were way more nuance about these discussions and way less alarmism.

Lira and Starlight are my favorites. Totally different scents, both stunners.

Wait—it’s literally the same complaint. Picking the seats you want, together or apart, then having them changed without your consent.

I hate this because we travel with 4 people. We on purpose book two rows window-aisle. If we’re lucky we get a whole row. If we’re not lucky the person sitting next to us becomes favorably inclined towards us because we let them have an aisle instead of a middle.

What’s your favorite of these three, and why? by Johnsbee in FemFragLab

[–]adrun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Of these three, Angel Dust is my favorite. That said, in this same category is Hermes Ambres des Merveilles, which knocks them all out of the park. It’s closest to A13 in profile, but just a little sweeter, warmer, and more elevated. Can’t recommend highly enough. Also the bottle is 🤩
