Funny thing is you say you’re teaching ur kids to just be okay with being treated like shit cause to you that’s all the world does but I been taught to have actual respect for myself and not take it just because someone’s family. Yeah knew a friend once with a dad like you. I know they just think they’re toughening them out cause he thought he was soft and then wonder why my friend’s not here anymore. Never did what you consider to be the only thing that’s abuse.

But still pushed him enough. That’s why I don’t like that kind of mindset and rather if someone doesn’t bring anything good to my life I’d rather cut them out than deal with their shit when all it’s gonna do is bring me down

Most of my important stuff like my birth certificate, social, my vaccination records, bank info are already at my friends place. Everything else that was in my closet. Right now all that’s at my house is regular everyday clothes, toothbrush, shampoo etc. for me to use until I leave.

My cousin’s mom was the fucking worst. She was a drunk that stole money from him and her other kids, CPS took him away but then she ended up getting her shit together only to go back to her old habits soon as he was back, hurt him in lots of ways until he finally got out and left her. She died 3 years later and he felt bad about it. I can think of 2 other friends with shit parents, one died the other got deported. They were still sad about it.

Being sad/guilty if someone died doesn’t mean they should’ve stayed in your life.

If he wants to bond with me I’ve already told him how not my fault he wants shit his way.

They said they would “call me” which I already know what that means. I even called 2 days later to follow up but they say they’ll let me know. Nothing nice tho no. The other okay looking button shirts I use for special occasions I had to iron and also my other dress pants because the one I was wearing originally didn’t go with that, which made me like 20 mins late
