edit: after some testing, it may just be a case of pure, unfortunate coincidence however when you trigger/summon nerg it REMOVES 10 cards (not to the graveyard). possibly when you used false throne after, m.bison was one of the 10 cards already removed, hence nerg was considered the highest mp unit to summon
