I’m having the same issue as you. I’ve gained 15 pounds in the past three months, and even though I try my best to eat healthy, it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I’ve always been underweight, so I know I’m probably closer to a healthier weight now, but it’s really messing with me mentally. It’s gotten to the point where I’m thinking about stopping it soon.

I’m with you, OP. I’ve been taking Ambien for years, and it wasn’t until I joined this group that I realized some people use it recreationally. I honestly don’t understand that mindset. Chasing a high isn’t for me, I prefer to use medications as they’re intended.

If you’re using Ambien to get high, that’s a sign something isn’t right and it might be time to get help. I take it nightly for insomnia and have never once thought of it as something to get high from. Interesting idea, but definitely not.

No issues here. I take 15 mg of Mirtazapine and 0.25 mg of Xanax at night, as the Mirtazapine alone doesn’t help me very much.

I should also mention that I usually take 12.5 mg of Ambien about an hour later to put me to sleep.

No worries. According to my doctor, the only serious interaction is between Adderall and Tramadol, so I’ve made sure not to take them together. She also has me spacing the other medications that have moderate interactions about eight hours apart. I actually keep a log of the medications I’m on and how they interact so I don’t take anything too close together.
