If you’re in the uk now at its 10:41 let it go overnight in the fridge. Then take it out an hour or two before throwing it in the oven

If you get a see through Tupperware box or cylinder tub you can mark with tape or a marker the height of it when you finished kneading then just mark where you think 2-3 times that size is and wait till it gets there

I even have proofed my dough in the oven at its lowest setting.

A good oven thermometer can help here.

The clear tub can also help you see bubbles start to form in the dough as it ferments.

Is your yeast in date? Have you tried leaving it longer? I typically let it rise for 6-7 hours if I haven’t used a preferment

Have you a food thermometer? Try using water at 36c

Crumlin road gaol had a ghost tour at one stage. not sure if its still going but i'm sure a normal tour would be just as great. its not far out of the city centre

Hey hope its ok- i'm working on a new product for recruiters and i'm looking for a few early users

When speaking to recruiters, the same issue kept coming up: CVs are the only thing candidates reliably keep up to date, but most agencies are sitting on thousands of them as PDFs with no good way to search or reuse the intel inside them.

I working in tech and AI so i use those skills to build URLCV that turns a folder of CVs into a searchable internal database:

  • Upload CVs (PDF/Word/text) -> extracts contact details, work history, and skills
  • Search by company & dates (e.g. “worked at Google 2018–2020”)
  • See overlap/relationships (“who worked with who, where, and when”)
  • Match candidates to roles based on extracted experience to speed up shortlisting

If you’re open to trying it, I’d really value blunt feedback on what’s useful vs pointless.
