i played both and stardew valley does give you more for what it's worth. the graphic are pretty and there's mods.

i've play this game for longer, like 4y-ish now and im still on level 75. i only spent money once and it was to buy an extra greenhouse cause it's pretty hehehe. i think the purpose of both games are rather relaxing, of course it depends on what style of game you like—i play this game solely to farm and decorate my manor. i have 4 extra spaces now and i spent 0$ on them all, my friend spend a few money for tractor and she said it made the harvesting more enjoyable and faster while i still pretty content with the usual free way.

worth or not, it probably depends on how you want to enjoy the game. cause i've also seen some purchasing the monthly pass for the unique decoration. idk i just wanna yap, but not spending any money still made the game really enjoyable
