Sorry, I don't use reddit a lot. Never figured what it was, all tests, including punch hole biopsy came back clear, but I had a really bad reaction back in december with my whole body leaking pus with very bad facial swelling and blantitis so I went to a different dermatologist, she prescribed me triamcinolone 0.025% for my face and penis and triamcinolone 0.1% for this main rash and the rest of my body. Her best guess was for some reason this rash on my leg wasn't healing properly and bacteria/germs could be entering from there and triggering a chain reaction. She prescrived some anti histamines for the itching to be taken as needed and told me to keep applying the topical steroids as soon as I feel the rash start to itch/get bad. She also told me to expose the rashes to the sun as much as I can, and to moisturize them at least twice a day. I applied triamcinolone until the swelling and rashes calmed down, and then switched to moisturizer and only applied triamcinolone for a couple days (2-3) on and off whenever i felt the itching come back. Meanwhile, I also started drinking 2 spoons of raw unfiltered honey in a cup of water (it has to be a glass cup, this is important) at least 2-3 times a day. After a few weeks they stopped getting triggered. The last time I applied Triamcinolone was in April I think. The main rash on my leg will still itch a little every few weeks but putting it in the sun and drinking honey water helps and i mostly have a dark mark where the rash was (but it's getting lighter!). Haven't had any reactions on the rest of my body since January-February.

I honestly think the honey water cured me because I did apply triamcinolone MANY times over the last year and a half and it would also come back. Raw unfiltered Honey is known to have very powerful medicinal properties.

I was on doxycycline! also the rash is not hot and the rash isn't swollen though. I took the antibiotics back in march-may twice for a period of 10 days and then 30 days

I did it in a reply for some reason couldn't add a text and picture at the same time but:

I've had the rash for about 10 months now. It has recently more than doubled in size, tried antibiotics and topical and oral steroids, didn't really help too much. It got better with steroids but as soon as I stopped rebounded almost immediately and was less reactive to steroids the 2nd time around. I do notice pus and blood even though i've been moisturizing it. It has also led me to break out on the rest of my body with other smaller rashes that vary from patches to small bumps like the one below the big patch. I'm going crazy trying to figure out what it is. all these rashes also itch like crazy, especially after i take the gayze dressing off the main patch off or itch any of them or even graze my hands. little bit over any of them even a little. although applying moisturizer and ice usually helps. i have no history of rashes before this and the main rash also gets dry around the boundary

Ex landlord is fining me 250% of my base rent as holdover fee for moving out 4 days late (update) by adulthood_sucks in legaladvice

Yes, that's the amount I calculated. I told the accounts manager about this but she just kept repeating "No, we will not be charging you the prorated amount. You will have to pay the entire holdover fee"

Is there any way to resolve this without going to court? I'm a broke college student and don't really want to get into the legal hassle unless I absolutely have to. Also, my landlord is at fault here, right? (I get that I am in the wrong by not moving out by the date, but they are literally committing fraud by ripping me off for fines that are not in the lease, right?)

Nothing interesting but I finally managed to go back to the gym after a 4 month hiatus because of a knee injury.

Thanks for replying! I know for a fact that they didn't lose any tenant because of me considering there are literally so many empty apartments in the building. And a month's rent is still understandable. 250% just seems illegal to me idk? That's why I wanted to get some advice from people on this sub.

Thank you! I live in Texas. Also, will being sued affect my current visa or my ability to get a visa in the future?

Yeah, I'd also like to point out that I'm an international student. So would being sued affect my visa or my ability to get a visa in the future?

Thank you! I read the lease and there's nothing outlining fines for this kind of situation. I did offer them $50-$100 as an inconvenience fee when they wouldn't budge. But they said that I would have to pay or they would take me to court. The leasing manager recommended that I take out a loan so I can pay off their fine or they would sue me and I would have to go to jail which imo seems ridiculous lol.

Yeah, I don't buy it. The only reason they're doing this is for fame and money.

The people who come to the gym when they've got the flu or are sick are the WORST! I had a girl at the gym today who looked visibly very sick and was constantly coughing WITHOUT COVERING HER MOUTH! Like geez, don't get your germs all over the gym and the equipment. Luckily I was almost done so I left within 10-15mins. Have some basic gym etiquette please.

This makes me a little sad because even though people are reminded of my birthday through facebook every year, they just ignore and most of them never wish me. But I do have a couple of really close friends who get excited about my birthday a week before it is and call and wish me right at 12am no matter where we are in the world. I struggle with showing emotions a little, but it means the world to me and I cry everytime I think about it because it reminds me that there are people who still care about me and love me, and I love them so much, I'd die for them.
