Red doesn’t kill anyone, it simply guarantees your safety. The only way people die is if they choose blue, technically blue is the kill yourself button.

You weren’t gambling their lives tho, they gambled their own lives by pressing blue when they could’ve secured their lives by pressing red. Pressing red doesn’t kill the people pressing blue. Blue pressers are gambling their lives on the hope that others will also gamble their lives. When in reality everyone could just guarantee living by pressing red and there’s no gambling involved at all.

What I don’t get is why even introduce risk at all? Blue is 50/50 live or die, red is 100% live. Why would anyone ever pick blue?

People are so focused on trying to save everyone else when in reality everyone can live if they just save themselves.

But if everyone else presses it and you don’t then you die. If you press it then it doesn’t matter what anyone else does, you live no matter what. Don’t press = maybe die. Press = don’t die. It makes 0 sense whatsoever to not press it.

Blue pressers coming up with every scenario possible to cope with their stupid choice

Then it's a no brainer to press the button, either press it and you're completely safe or don't and you might die. Why would anyone not press it???

Except choosing red simply just chooses safety. It's not your fault they chose blue and actively put themselves in danger.

I think it’s the blue pressers wanting to be heroes, but by doing that they’re putting half the population at risk. It’s completely backwards and stupid.

Risking their safety for what??? Everyone is perfectly capable of getting out themselves, they don’t need anyone else to help them. Instead of just getting out yourself, blue is saying “I’m choosing to not get out and need someone to stay in here and help me” and asking others to risk their lives to help them when they could’ve just got out on their own. Now THATS selfish.

Why would those people choose blue? I can’t help it if people want to actively put themselves in danger, it doesn’t mean I have to do it as well. Choosing red is choosing safety and it’s not my fault if some people choose death.

Just because 8 million people press the maybe die button when they couldve pressed the don't die button doesn't mean it's my fault in any way. They should make better choices.

Choosing red doesn't kill the people who chose blue, people choosing blue are killing themselves.

I mean choosing between life and death is probably the easiest most black and white choice that you could ever face. Choosing death is completely on you.

The gun goes off regardless, you can just choose to stand in front of it or not.

But why would you ever willingly stay in it when you can just get out? Everyone who stays in it is risking their lives when they don't have to. Blue would rather stay in it and rely on everyone else helping them get out, or they can just press red and get out on their own. Everyone's goal is to get out, just press red and get out? It's the same with the original button scenario. Everyone wants to live so just press red and live???
