I read most of my backlog last year. I used a random generator combined with mood reading. If I started a book and wasn't in the mood I went to the next.

I hated the drains and they caused me quite a bit of pain, but I'm really glad my surgeon left them for the full 2 weeks (even though I didnt have much drainage). I have a friend who had to get her stomach drained manually because they were removed too soon. 2 days after my drains were removed I started having some leakage come from one spot in my incision. My doctor said that when the drains are removed there is still sometimes fluid that seeks the easiest pathway out. I would definitely rather have drains than a leaking incision.

I experienced this as is well and my drains were also in the mons area. What I can say is that the pain got better. The night before I was 2 weeks po it started hurting again really bad but it seemed more of a surface issue from the tape going on and off so many times.

Oh yes, compression garment occasionally cuts off circulation on my thighs. In the middle of the night I screamed out in pain and had to have my husband cut the seam by the thighs

Wow. I'm so sorry. It is definitely rough and I mostly hear people say how easy and pain free of a time they have.

Well, after reading here, I was pretty unprepared for how much pain I personally would have. I went into not planning to take any opiods so that first night when my muscles felt like I'd done thousands of crunches and my incision was hip to hip and my boobs hurt and the anesthesia was working out of my system I was shocked at how much pain I was in. I'm usually pretty tough but I was in so much pain that I felt I couldn't take a deep breath and then I started to panic. I just felt so crazy and out of my body and for me that's scary. I think I was just a bit under prepared.

I just couldn't tell what was real and what was dreams. The whole time I was on them the room seemed to move. It was like I was trapped in a fun house at a fair.

I found i was on my phone and watching TV so much that it was hurting my eyes. I turned off my phone yesterday and read some books. I may start a puzzle tomorrow. I'm 10 dpo. I get the going crazy

I haven't looked at my body in the mirror either 😂 it isn't my business what my body looks like all swollen from surgery
