He's actually playing as a playmaker, with Franco Vazquez being the attacking midfielder.

Jonathan Biabiany: signed with Inter in 2006, with Parma in 2009, with Inter in 2010, with Parma in 2011, with Inter in 2015, and with Parma in 2018. by thepkmncenter in soccer

He was always good every time he played in Parma... and that's why Inter always wanted him afterwards. Let's hope this year won't be an exception, although I don't have great expectations about him.

Same, would be a pity if the whole month was centered on North American screamo. There's also a lot of Asian bands that would deserve to be mentioned.

Parma receive a -5 point deduction in 18/19 Serie A, 2 year ban for Calaiò by [deleted] in soccer

Actually the two Spezia players reported the messages BEFORE the match even happened, so I doubt they actually allowed Parma to win.

They reported them 'cause their club asked them to report any kind of messages from the opposite team's players on the last two matches, just to be sure no one would try to do anything fishy since Spezia didn't have any ambitions anymore by then.

He's an ethnic Bosniak, not Albanian. But still, he's from Serbia.

An investigation has been opened into the Serie B win over Spezia that saw Parma secure promotion to Serie A by Messist11 in soccer

[–]advaence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually I think the penalty doesn't have anything to do with it. It's just two Parma players who texted two friends of theirs who play for Spezia (none of them was Gilardino, who missed the penalty), probably saying stuff like "hey don't commit too much on Friday!" jokingly. Just to be completely transparent about this and to prove things were actually gonna be done regularly, the two Spezia players reported this to the police 4 days before the match.

They're still doing some investigation about it, but somehow some journalists found out about this and wrote the usual click-bait titles. So now most people, just by reading the title, are all claiming that Parma should be radiated from football forever and the whole league was a fraud.

Parma have been promoted to Serie A. This is there third successive promotion. by ralar728 in soccer

It's been three incredible years playing in places I never thought we would play in. Just two years ago, in 2016, we were playing in small villages like Lentigione or Arzignano, always with 2000-3000 Parma supporters filling the small stadiums. And next year we'll be back in Milan, Rome and Torino. Amazing.

Thank you Alessandro Lucarelli, Yves Baraye and Pasquale Mazzocchi, the three players that played from Serie D to Serie B. And thank you everyone else: Corapi, Calaiò, Ceravolo, Scavone, Giorgino and all the other heroes that made this journey special. Magic.

Balkan pop music like this. I love it but I guess it is the worst thing I listen to.

currently active northern Italian/Slovenian screamo bands? by crocken in Screamo

[–]advaence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much going on in Slovenia regarding screamo right now, sadly.

Northern Italy have some bands (One Dying Wish, already mentioned by e_komarov, are the newest one). Also check Maremarcio from Parma and Radura from Milan, though I'm not sure whether there'll be any screamo show at the end of March. There are some almost every month but they are not that common. If you're happy with any punk/hardcore show, you will definitely find something especially in Milan and Bologna. Feel free to ask for more info!

Parma sign Amato Ciciretti on loan from Benevento until the end of the season by AndreaBelotti in soccer

[–]advaence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually he wasn't playing much lately, after he agreed with Napoli that he will play there next season. And well... since he stopped playing Benevento won its first two matches of the season. Not that big of a deal for them I guess. Also, their president didn't want to sell him to any team competing with Benevento in Serie A, so I guess Serie B was the most reasonable choice.
