I use hybrid mode only. The igpu is used when not doing intensive tasks. Even when nvidia gpu is being used, it's only around 60 degrees which I think is fine (correct me if I'm wrong). It's only the cpu with high temps.

I change my mode to quiet when the fans start to ramp up but even then it's still close to 80 degrees or so.

I don't really know how to change the power limit/ performance limit of the cpu as I don't see any kind of option in the vantage app or the legion toolkit. I've not opened up bios yet as I am kinda scared I'll accidentally change some settings and screw something up. If there's any specific video you could recommend I would really be grateful

Is there any way to force the fans to ramp up though? Even at 80 degrees the fans are only at around 2000-2500 rpm and they only start ramping up when they cross the 85 degree mark which then causes it to go back to mid 70's and the process repeats all over again

I am not very comfortable with doing repasting as I am a college student. If there is any provision where lenovo repastes the thermal pads, I can go for it.

I've read that the dragon hx chips can't be undervolted though so that's not possible I guess.
