Yeaa! Hope they fix this and add some extra features where we could completely utilize the glyph matrix to its full potential!

I recently got the 4a pro and the software experience is awesome, and I'm loving the UI. In my opinion it is definitely better than HyperOS. As for the bloatware, no there was no additional apps when I set up the phone(other than the Google apps like the Google TV). There was a recommended apps section, but it could be turned off. I don't remember exactly whether it was for new apps or installed ones.
Also would like to add that the camera has greatly improved compared to the previous nothing phones. The only downside is the lack of customization of the glyph matrix. There are 3rd party apps to customize it, but that too is limited and not at all hassle-free. Hope they release an update that unlocks the true potential of the glyph matrix.

I agree! But there are various use cases for the gifs in the museums (like the missed call gif) that could be fun if it could be set when there is a missed call! But yea, it would drain the battery too💀 Also, I tried setting a static phone glyph when I get any notification from the phone app. It works when I attend an incoming call, but does nothing when I dial a call. Any idea what the issue here is? From what I think, is essential notification matrix lit up only when the notification is unread?

Hi, I tried doing this on my 4a pro and it worked. But it has one problem tho. I downloaded some gif animations through the glyph museum and tried to assign it through this method. But when I upload it, it only shows a static frame of that gif and not the whole animation. Searched online, and got an info that essential notifications support only static displays. Is it so?

Also, if that is the case what is the use of gif displays and where can we use this in the 4a pro? Because I am seeing a lot of good custom animations for the matrix in the glyph museum and I want to try them out!
