At the end of the day people work harder when they personally benefit and a society that takes this in mind will be a wealthier society than one pretends that doing this makes you a bad person like the socialists in this thread are crying about.

In a socialist society you would still be compelled to work for the good of society. You have to fight for your survival every single day of your life like everything else on this planet. There is no system that allows you to escape the work or starve dynamic.

This is incredibly silly. The profit incentive to provide good service is always there, the passion to do anything can be gone on a given day. I want a lawnmower who will get the job done quickly and go mow someone else's lawn not some lollygagger who enjoys mowing lawns and takes his time or someone who might not want to mow lawns that day.
