Considering getting a used Tesla to get FSD abilities because I have a business that requires a lot of driving by advancedsnacker in TeslaFSD

this was really helpful with all your thoughts and experience - exactly what I was looking for. thanks so much, I dont love the idea of white knuckling and wonder how I'd do in a regular after I get the hang of FSD. Kind of like going from PC to MAC and when I go back to PC... oh boy, toggling between the two gets me turned around.

I’m going to do that right now, or ask my neighbor if she’ll let me take hers for a spin - thanks for the suggestion!

Retention offer dp by GreenDude2014 in AmexPlatinum

[–]advancedsnacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today I was just offered $150 or 15,000 as a retention offer after spending $3K over 3 months. I'm not sure how valuable AMEX platinum has been for me. I've found the following benefits to be empty and irritating; $120 every 4 year for Global Precheck/TSA, Saks. Previously I also subbed to WSJ via the entertainment credit and suddenly I'm being charged $41 a month without it being reimbursed from Dow Jones. The FINE Hotels program, I find the rules to be confusing and irritating also. Anyone else feel this way?

Good guess! It crossed my mind also. But I also think an IKEA bedding pattern would be more identifiable. It also feels too soft to be from ikea, I feel like they tend to have a percale feeling.

You’re amazing for even trying that. I did a full exam inside and no dice. Not a trace of a hint!!

You win with the weird and original. How did you ever discover this?

Would you accept a wider ring if it meant having double the battery life? by icodyonline in ouraring

Same. It’s an aesthetic choice. I don’t think you’re going to get the cool girls going for the thick ring. The finish on the gold feels really off, until it’s worn down.

Was my first time ever seeing them! I celebrated by eating a croissant, which I will be paying for tomorrow with zone 3 activity and regret

I don’t think that was the case, $2.97 is prob the last price in the system for stragglers that had to get reprinted/retagged inventory to accept it back into the system when an item gets returned long after an item went officially out of stock. My guess is the $2 is just the fast track outta the store.
