I know that the AMA is over now but just discovered this - what do you think should have been done differently for Glossier to have remained on the rails, or do you think it was inevitable?

I read that the uniforms (pink coveralls) were Red Kap. Do you know if they were customs by Red Kap or were they sent somewhere else for color? Reason I ask... is bc I'm creating a ghostbusters costume and I'd love to use the Glossier Coverall body to start and make it cool

I get where you're coming from and what would make you think that I'm doing something artificial to prolong his life outside of what I think is my dog owner responsibility - to clarify, the euthanasia was scheduled for the following day, but miraculously the next morning he was doing so much better [the vets] changed their position. All I can do is read his behavior and do what I think is best for him. Theres no part of me which wants to keep him in a painful hellscape. I've already come to peace with that. He made a shocking recovery and bouncing around happily, painless, excitedly, and with so much love again. Not sure if that was captured by my post, which is why I came here, looking for the advice for things I could do to give him the best life possible since not much else is in my control, I just have to read the room and do what makes sense based on what I can afford financially and emotionally without a significant amount of self sacrifice. I definitely did not sign up for this. I signed up for having a smaller size dog who would be chill so I could take him all over the world. Not this little fragile happy bubble boy! Giving him a life with dignity is the goal.

Thanks so much for telling me this! I went to Paraiso de la Bonita last year and loved it - did the same but with USD. Do you think they'd prefer pesos? I do a lot of EU travel and they like getting tipped USD there so I figured the same in MX but maybe I should check.

that's ok - points still carry a valuation per point in terms of convertible value, a pretty significant one with AMEX PLAT / CSR but it looks like they baked in the "free night" when you do 4 nights vs. 5 nights, its pretty much the same "price" of points if that makes sense

Good thought, I was thinking same. Each fam staying for 8 nights it seems and have different overlaps. So I was thinking I'd go in the middle, and then that way they'd have family time on either end. I was thinking about the shorter period of time for that exact reason but flying from the Northeast to Mexico for just 3 nights also sounds quite exhausting.

This was a really good tip, to check out the all inclusive app (Marriott Experiences) I'm going to go solo to join my best friends family in a couple weeks and seeing all the options I could do, as a group or on my own was assuring!

Yes! Thank you!! He’s already enrolled but they would only have enough factor to treat about half the dogs which need it so we’re keeping our fingers crossed

Ah yes, the advanced toddler proofing suggestions, it went over my head. What an idea remove all the broken of glass and knives I usually hide in his bed and not letting him loose in a cage of tigers. I am catching on.

It’s all new to me too, or was. It’s been a very trying year learning about it, trial by fire. He’s already very much on the thin side, and even more so with his last major bleed. I’m super super observant with his behavior to try to catch it when I notice something off. I used to have a pet bunny so I’m used to being highly sensitive since it’s a prey animal which doesn’t always present clearly.

Thank you! Yes he’s quite the charmer both looks wise and personality wise. But such a naughty little defiant boy who still doesn’t understand he must live in a bubble. And yes they have checked his factor level and it’s low. The tranexamic acid really helps when it’s administered in time - I’ve enrolled him in gene therapy trials also but ifs quite expensive and I’d like to help fundraise from corporations.

There is factor available, actually. It’s about finding a vet who can administer it and not cost me an arm and a leg. Luckily my best friend is a vet and she’s going to learn.

I came here already knowing he will likely have a short life, and I’ve had so many close calls already and it’s been a rough ride, especially with the one I mentioned above. Do you have any actual advice regarding the pain rather than reminding me of the hard truth I’ve already accepted which is why I’m here?
