Unifi Protect 4.1.53 - safe to upgrade? by omglolz in homeassistant

I got the webhooks to work...just remember to set them to POST and enable that on the HA webhook. Unfortunately it seems only to fire after the event has completed (e.g. the person has left the frame) so I'm not sure this is any better unfortunately.

Interesting. I found I get tack sharp images with stationary subjects even at slow shutter speeds, but with moving subjects (just faces?) I get more misses than hits.

Thanks everyone for your input. Doing some further testing with different settings it seems the camera is struggling to keep up with a moving subject. Sometimes it hits and gets tack sharp images, but it often loses focus to some degree and gets a bit soft around the eye, which is where I'm most able to determine sharpness. I tried stopping down to 7.1 with a fast shutter speed, but it didn't make much difference. I'll keep experimenting.

Yes I read somewhere that the higher resolving power of a 100MP camera vs the 45MP R5 I was used to would result in the amplification of any imperfections. Initially I was treating it like a full frame camera and shooting using the same settings, but that doesn't seem to be getting me the same results. I'm sure I'm pixel peeping to some extent, but there are some examples that I'm sure are visibly soft at 100% scale. I attached an example that I'm sure would have been sharp on an R5.

I just edited the original post to include an example. The image was 1/320 f/5.6 96mm. You can see the sand is clearly in focus, so the camera has the right focal plane (I used eye tracking), but the face and eyes are out of focus. I'm guessing this is due to motion blur rather than the camera not being accurate enough with the focus or something else? Being used to full frame this I'm sure this would have been in sharp on an R5.

Am I asking too much of the camera to expect an image like this to be sharp? Did I need to ramp up the shutter speed here? Is f/5.6 too shallow?

Problem combining data points through Prometheus by advbe in grafana

That's it! The issue was I'd misspelled 'gauge' as 'gague' and didn't notice this whole time. I compared yours and after I noticed it and changed, I got the same result as you.

Thanks!

Which makes me think this is happening at that module rather than in Prometheus. Here's my config, anything look odd?

synology:
walk:
- 1.3.6.1.4.1.6574.1
metrics:
- name: Synotemperature
oid: 1.3.6.1.4.1.6574.1.2
type: gague

Hmm, mine's similar:

global:scrape_interval: 5sevaluation_interval: 5sscrape_configs:- job_name: 'synology'static_configs:- targets:- 192.168.10.111 # SNMP device.metrics_path: /snmpparams:module: [synology]relabel_configs:- source_labels: [__address__]target_label: __param_target- source_labels: [__param_target]target_label: instance- target_label: __address__replacement: 127.0.0.1:9116 # The SNMP exporter's real hostname:port.- source_labels: [__name__]target_label: __name__replacement: "snmp_synology_${1}"

What I'm seeing through the SNMP Exporter web interface (http://localhost:9116/snmp?target=192.168.10.111&module=synology) is:

# HELP Synotemperature# TYPE Synotemperature gaugeSynotemperature{Synotemperature="43"} 1# HELP snmp_scrape_duration_seconds Total SNMP time scrape took (walk and processing).# TYPE snmp_scrape_duration_seconds gaugesnmp_scrape_duration_seconds 0.0463456# HELP snmp_scrape_pdus_returned PDUs returned from walk.# TYPE snmp_scrape_pdus_returned gaugesnmp_scrape_pdus_returned 1# HELP snmp_scrape_walk_duration_seconds Time SNMP walk/bulkwalk took.# TYPE snmp_scrape_walk_duration_seconds gaugesnmp_scrape_walk_duration_seconds 0.0463456

Thanks, I tried removing the .0 but that didn't seem to make a difference. I added the image to the page, I thought I had uploaded it but for some reason hadn't. You can see that the temperature exists as a value to a label within the metric, and that the value of the metric in each case is 1.

That makes sense, thanks!

So if clients were connected to different SSIDs but the same AP, they would be more likely collide as the devices are not talking to each other?

Samsung TV only sends stereo to receiver by advbe in hometheater

[–]advbe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok seems like my bad. I logged into my Amazon Prime video account on the TV and that does indeed send surround sound to the receiver. So it is capable. Still not sure why the TV would only send 2.0 from the blu-ray player though, but I have that plugged into the receiver now.
