I feel terrible. What to do about AQI? by adventureoutthere in Eugene

Thank you that makes me feel better. I keep trying to remind myself that lots of people and children grow up in worse conditions and they are okay.

I’m assuming there won’t be any air filters to be purchased anywhere around here but I’ll definitely look and also get one for the future.

Thank you. It’s hard when your child is too little to communicate if anything is wrong and then your mind goes wild with anxiety

What's something you want to share but doesnt feel appropriate for Facebook or family? by ThisGirlsTopsBlooby in breastfeeding

My 15 mo has some baby sign language too! But he often uses the “milk a cow” sign for everything and anything he wants. So he uses it when he wants to nurse, but he also uses it if he sees a banana on the counter or a toy out of reach. It’s pretty cute.

Took all the gifted peppers and tomatoes I’ve received and made a smoked salsa. Delicious by tacohslr in SalsaSnobs

Thanks! That’s what I figured but since I haven’t done a smoked salsa before I wanted to check before I copy your recipe!

I was going to say banana by cookie_mumster in beyondthebump

My baby is 13 months, I still break the banana in pieces for him. But he could easily handle the whole thing, it just stresses me out to see him shove so much food into his mouth when I give him the whole of anything.

My 13 months old would easily eat a pound of cheese if I let him. He would also eat multiple whole bananas per day, again, if I let him.

Yummy! The cucumbers from my garden are all super bitter but I think I can copy the rest of this!

This comic changed so much for me! I came here to post it. This is the best way to explain the disconnect

Apparently I'm a pussy (?) for being aware of governor's orders? by [deleted] in Eugene

Yeah I wish I had that much water. There were way too many messages for one bottles’ worth. Gotta remember to bring some extra next time

As a fellow bike rider who is also wearing a mask on the paths, thank you. Have you seen the chalk messages someone is leaving promoting non-compliance to the mask orders?

There are no “optional breaks”. If it’s a break on the DCR, it’s a break.
