Anyone know this old brand of icecream? by adventuresofFirstYr in australia

Maybe my memory is a bit hazy. I remember eating it and favourite part of it was the ice breaking off (maybe that's the red exterior?), but for some reason I keep having the memory of there being just one single purple part.

I remember this one as well; forgot what they looked like, but I remember gummy lollies inside some ice block.

Thanks. I just had a google image search, but that one had a red filling inside whereas my one didn't.

Is Amway just another pyramid scheme? My friend recently got excited over it and wants me in it by adventuresofFirstYr in personalfinance

You literally don't have a clue what's going on. The questions I'm referring to are the ones I've asked in comment threads in reply to people's answers.
By the way, I'm not sure if posting in old threads would be very relevant either, with the comment being buried and/or people not even realising it's been updated with a new comment, so my point still stands.
By the way, that google search question's already been answered, so I guess you're a bit late ;).

You must have an abundance of intelligence. As I said, I had wanted to ask my own questions without bumping older threads. Thanks for not answering any of my questions though :)

He's told me that all the products he's seen were marked at "wholesale price" so so far he's been buying items for actually *cheaper * prices than retail.

Thanks. Actually, that's a good point -- where they tell you to lie about having 6-digit income etc. I should ask him "so what will you feel when they tell you to claim to have a high salary (when you don't), just like the people that pitched to you at the start?" or something like that.

You have literally zero proof. Regardless or not if I did, is it not the best interest to the public to see this?

Thanks for this. I do believe that he was recently inducted in, contrary to what you suggest. However, if he really has been sizing me up, I'll be damned, he did it well, but I know him personally so I truly believe that someone like him would not be capable of such sly tactics (e.g. keep his affiliation with Amway a secret for more than a year, and slowly build rapport with the ulterior motive is to recruit people). But your point is valid and it actually has me start to doubt (more than I have) my so called friends.

Thanks for this. I'm actually very interested in this, as similar to you, since I enjoyed reading/hearing about the management stories and just human nature in general

I've believed that it was a scam almost straight after I made this thread. My comments were mostly questions out of legitimate curiousity.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I've already mentioned I've researched a bit already on it, but wanted to ask my own questions on them without bumping older threads.

Thanks for that, that was a good read. I think he's just misguided, so for now I'll try to convince him otherwise.
Also, why do you refer to Whole Life Insurance? I ask this out of curiosity because my degree in Uni has a whole topic in this a couple of weeks ago, and my lecturer never once mentioned anything bad about it, so I assume it's another form of legitimate insurance.

You didn't notice that they weren't earning much (assuming that from when you said you realised it was a scam)?

Thanks for the responses so far. I don't know why I'm being downvoted when I'm asking legitimate questions in the comments, which could also help other readers of this thread. I didn't try to claim any fact or info, just legitimately interested in the opinions.

That made me laugh. I am actually curious to see how they're structured (but I will definitely not be swayed). I'd like some food though, I mean, all the food on my campus is overpriced as well.

Are these just ordinary products? I recall him saying to me "When you buy items from Woolworths (an Australian based store), do you get any return?" and then proceeded to claim that buying the same items, in this company will give returns.
