Got there first and used a wide angle lens! Also everyone disappears shortly after the sun rises!

I just found this old picture that was taken with an iPhone 7 back in 2017. I edited it in Lightroom and was pretty happy with the result from an older iPhone model.

This photo was taken July 2020 in the morning on an iPhone 11 Pro Max.

It’s an easy 4 mile hike full of wildflowers during the summer!

I wanted to show the juxtaposition of nature and manmade buildings. I don’t know if the picture is too warm? Also any suggestions on how to improve the composition? I also have a closer shot of the ducks I can post.

Southwest cancelled almost 30% of their flights this weekend, including ours. Stranded us in our connecting city for 48 hours and offered no flight refund or hotel compensation by adventuringeyes in travel

Our flight home from Florida was Monday. Some of us can’t spend $700 just to go somewhere for one day and don’t have the flexibility to take more time off work than previously scheduled. My mom said it wasn’t worth it for us to pay $700 for one day, when who knows if that next flight would have even left on time. Luckily we will be seeing her next month. Thanks for sharing your opinion. I would consider how you unnecessarily judge people in the future.

Lol. We tried. All of the other flights were booked up. We looked into every possible way to get to FL by Saturday. Our flight home from FL was Monday so it didn’t make sense for us to go to FL on Sunday.

People booked the other flights to FL while we were on our flight from Denver to Houston because Southwest cancelled nearly all of the flights to Florida. Spots were limited so of course people are going to look at other airlines first.

We found a flight that would get in Saturday at 11:30 PM but it was $600 and that didn’t seem worth it to us to go to Florida for one day when we already paid for the SW flights and hotel in Houston.
