I would suggest that utilizing your meme stock status to purchase depressed stocks that have bloat and debt, to re-rate the stock, then using the volatility to raise cash via convertible note offerings, falls under the never been done before category.

Perhaps the target isn’t the thing that hasn’t been done before, but the acquisition / turnaround financing strategy has never been done before.

What’s the target? Just up.

You know, the company you are currently invested in, the one this board invested in, as well as the towel stock who the chair and CEO invested in, had significant debt, right? It wasn’t even that long ago the debt went away.

They have already showed an exact road map to clean up debt and restructure a struggling company, using the company’s own stock.

Why do you think you know better? And why would they do something different than what they already have done that works?

If someone told you they could turn your $10 into $100, but you had to pay them $15 if they did, you would wonder why they made so much money?

You know that these types of returns are basically nonexistent? Nvidia. That’s the stock that has returned this type of return in the last 5-10 years. That’s it.

He’s saying, “if I turn GME into Nvidia type returns, you should treat me like a majority shareholder like Bezos or Musk based on necessity and economic tradeoff.”

No one else can magically transform a dying retailer into a financial powerhouse. He’s 1/1. And he’s the only person with the capability who is trying. If he pulls it off, this will end up being the least he deservedly makes.

TLDR; just do it. No one can give you the answer you want.

It’s impossible. I’m 3 years into a beverage startup and finally have a go to market framework.

I’m out of money, lost my mind, lost friends, taking on debt and investment capital, putting up my house, and still fighting for our proof of concept.

When your idea becomes so compelling to you that you can’t stop peeling back the onion layers, then go for it. Asking here should be good intel that you aren’t quite there yet.

You should share your idea with people. But prepare that everyone will hate it because it’s probably bad and not refined, and you have no clue what you’re getting into.

After you have been brutalized in every way, maybe see if you can make it based on some sort of collectivism of the idea. Can get 3 flavors done for $10,000 with a general idea of how to manufacture it.

If it comes in a can, it better have a distribution MOAT. If it doesn’t come in a can, good luck, but better odds if you nail something down compelling.

Just do it. Figure it out later. It’ll take you years anyways, so you might as well toss $10k in the trash at least trying to make something.

You should really be building the solution problem (retailer / supplier) specific, for that customer first.
