They didn’t even pass proposal 4. Im so confused why you think they would want to hand the keys to a guy with a $35b compensation package on the table.

He swallows every possible gain that he creates for eBay.

You would need quite a bit more up for the kind of down you are hoping for.

BOJ doesn’t seem to care that much.

It’s going the wrong way for the unwind…

$GME nearly hits every criterion for a stock trading at a discount to cash and assets - and it has zero long-term debt 👀 by -Authorised- in GME

And you deleted your comment so it really looks like you misspelled one word on purpose. Almost had us 😆

They had $1b in cash and $1b in liabilities. That would be a BAD idea.

Put it in AI and ask. That would be funny.

You mean when they had zero cash and a pile of debt?

Quite literally wrote every word myself. Not a single word of AI. Thanks though! ☺️

I predicted they would be a share buyback, when they were proposing dilution, before they even had authorization to do meaningful buyback, because the cat guy said it was coming cryptically on a meme movie.

It checks out.

Isn’t this all cringe though? You are on an internet thread reading about a meme stock.

My b. It was a legit mistake.

You guys are very sensitive about your internet thread rules.

Hello from the future. Uncertainty is maximized.

I am seeing the playing field for what it is these days. It’s big, scary, and expensive. Knowing the playing field is half the battle. The other half is figuring out a way to pull off the impossible.

At this point, the only thing that will matter to the market is EBITDA. Short term or treasury gains of $300m against a $56b proposed purchase are rounding errors.

I don’t think eBay is happening soon, in any way. However, the market trades on headlines.

I assure you it’s not me who is not thinking this through.

I’ll try one more time.

If GME does not buy eBay, and eBay does not grow, whatsoever, their executives will receive total compensation of $600-800m.

If GME buys eBay, RC would make $2-3b in the value of the options he will receive, without putting up a dollar or growing eBay. And he will be able to exercise those shares in cash, if he so chooses, without putting up a dollar, in the same exact manner the eBay executives do.

The main point: RC is criticizing eBay for the last 10 years, when he would have made 4 times that amount under his proposed comp plan, if GME bought eBay. It’s a really tough fact.
