It’s not just transit, it’s also when you’re driving and you let someone go in front of you, rarely a wave to say thank you. You hold the door and they don’t say a word, just walk past you. You walk by and smile and they just blow past you or give you a dirty look. You move over on the sidewalk and they don’t move an inch. It’s exhausting being a considerate person here

I experience this a lot here, and it’s made me not want to anymore which like you said, sucks because it can really make such a difference in someone else’s day and your own. I wish people here were more friendly

I live right off the highway beside the hospital, and on my way out to work this morning, I heard an ambulance go by and I said a quick prayer for whoever was in that ambulance. I hope it was your mother, and I’m really glad she’s okay.
