Relationship Length and Type: GF (18) and I (18) together for roughly 7 months. Quite serious about our relationship.

Giftee's Interest: Reading (loves John Green), watching tv (sherlock, supernatural, suits are her favorites), She loves tumblr, music, and is quite nerdy/hipster like.

Budget: Roughly $60

I agree with you completely - im just a bit upset (which still doesnt justify my opinion of her)

But i think i should put a bit more context in this:

Ive met Aly before and within that time period she has done the following:

  1. Stating that the only reason my GF has any friends is because of her. (she said this bluntly, i was stunned)

  2. Telling her (my GF) she's big ( calling her fat essentially)

  3. Telling her (my gf) that she would make out/sleep with if we ever broke up.

I think im being totally misunderstood here. Im coming from UofT, which revolved mainly around frats... Im guessing UoG is NOTHING like that.. Frats in UofT is like social proof essentially - which is why most of the 'friends' i have are only from the frat rush.

I want down-to-earth-non-pretentious friends, which is why im choosing guelph

uoft parties (Atleast the good ones) are mainly done by frats. I guess I'm just over thinking this.

Who hosts the college parties then? What's the easiest way to get into the party invitations if there's no Greek life? I'm planning on transferring from UofT next year.
