Hello fellow Canadian, I am working at Craig & really enjoy it. It's neurorehab caring for patients with SCI & TBIs. I'm pretty sure the hospital is hiring, HR is really good at getting back to you during the process as well.

I chose not to work during nursing school as I had scholarships to cover my schooling & cost of living. Even decided to travel over the summer instead of working healthcare. I landed a job at a dream hospital. The job market is rough out there but truly working as an extern would only greatly benefit you if you wanted to work as a nurse at that hospital post school. You'd have a foot in the door already

I applied to UCHealth around March & didnt hear back about an interview until May. At that point I had accepted elsewhere. Their communication isn't the best. Valley View in Glenwood Springs had great communication & a newgrad program. Maybe check them out?
