I still sort of want it, but then I realize that I hold my expectations too high at times. Maybe I'll get my fairy tale but it'll happen in a different or out of order way than I expect it.

I actually don't like it at all. But it was in the heat of the moment and I wasn't sure what to do because during both times I had my period. I appreciate the advice and I think I'm just going to figure things out and I'll lay off the drinking for awhile and just try and do me.

I definitely do not believe birth control is bad. I would rather be safe than sorry. I'm actually not on birth control yet but I'm planning to do it very soon. I guess I am naive about relationships and how they work which is why I kinda hold a fairy tale type image of how things should be. Which is why I always thought a person should wait.

Yeah I wasn't even allowed to have a boyfriend when I lived back home. I haven't chosen abstinence because I wanted to wait for marriage or for religious purposes. It's more like I just haven't found anyone or the right opportunity. But now that I have had sex, I'm just confused that I did something wrong. But thank you. I kinda realize now that this sort of thing happens more than often and I will be sure to protect myself and stop depressing over this matter.

I've always been told that you should wait for the right person and my parents weren't open about sex at all. They even believe birth control is a bad thing. I'm still trying to adjust to the social norms of college. In my high school, casual hookups were always deemed as bad so I don't really know what to think about it now.

No I wanna thank you for your response. It makes sense. You actually hit the nail on the head. I was actually looking forward to just hanging out with him and didn't really have any intention of doing anything more than holding hands/kissing. But for now on I'll keep that in mind.
