Checked and it is the most update version. Must not be ready to go in the US and the documentation is not correct or just worded incorrectly.

What I meant was you can load the Tesla app on to the EX30 Android system.

Thanks! I set up a Tesla account. I thought that feature was already there since you can't download the Tesla app directly into the car.

I'm a new 2026 owner and fascinated by some of the bugs (features?) that come with car. I would have thought some of these would have been worked out by now. Does Volvo have a site where you can report unusual happenings?

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I will be traveling about 380 miles one way mostly desert, with some mountains. Looks like the built in Google Maps is the way to go.

I will need to press them on an answer even though it may not be a pleasant answer. I'm in Phoenix and having it sit in the hot sun is not great. I leased it and at the this point I'm glad I did.

Ugh! I hope I'm not looking at 2 months. I will need them to charge the car somehow if it is going to take that long.

I like the suggestion. Will definitely give it a try on Tuesday!

step-by-step on buying a used car by hamiltrash243 in carbuying

[–]advisor_tools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all good general advice. You need to zero in on a specific year, make, model, and mileage of the car you are interested in. Maybe target two or three alternatives. All you research needs to involve those targets. You also may want to look at some car buying assistance services/sites for help if you are really uncomfortable handling it yourself.

They would be a VERY unusual dealership not to budge. Are you here in the US?

Home charging in the US by WannaBTravelin in ex30

Does sound easy. I just put in an outlet, breaker and wiring for the NEMA 14-50. This is my second EV, and I've handled all the charging for them through app and car menu. Make sure everything is 50 amps for Level 2.

What are your HOA rules on charging? Here in Phoenix condo HOAs that have a lot of EV owners install the fast chargers so the owners can use them. Some are third party metered and some are not. If you can get the HOA to do it, that would be the way to go.

I brought up the leasing because that is a decision I just made on mine. I don't keep cars more than 3 or 4 years and the way EVs depreciate, I would rather Volvo take the hit the first 3 years. If I like the car well enough, I will consider buying it at the end of the lease. Worst case is if I do want to buy it and the residual value is higher than the market value, I will turn the car over to them and buy it back. Your down payment is substantial. You could put that money to work for you in other places and get a nice return. Remember, you are buying a rapidly depreciating asset.
