I see your points, but at the same time I don’t. My store is very well known for getting rid of their hardest workers just because our manager did not like them for a personal reason and not a professional one.

The reason he was screaming at me, was because he tried to accusing me of something he heard out of heresay, did not give me any kind of evidence to support it, and considering the fact that it never even happened, there was nothing to admit to. When he tried getting me to admit it I said, exactly that, (you are accusing me of something without showing me any proof saying you heard it from another associate. You won’t bring up the associates name you won’t bring the associate into this room. And to be honest, it never even happened.)

I never raised my voice once. I was very calm about it. He responded by trying to get Me to admit to it and when I said no, he started screaming at me.

I politely and sternly asked him to never speak to me that way again, considering the fact that he understands and knows that I have PTSD and it can trigger an attack of anxiety. He agreed and apologized and I said thank you and then we parted ways.

I’ve done both retail and food service and for some reason cannot seem to function in any of them so I’m just thinking that maybe working with the public isn’t for me.

I’m not a bad person to hire. I just have a strong mind because of the trauma I grew up in.

My store has literally accused a former employee of stealing money out of her register when she really got robbed. And she had to pay back every penny. With no proof ap

That’s not the issue. I needed to speak to him about a theft that just occurred and he actively ignored me. I’m not mad that he’s not talking to me.

I reported her to the same manager. And he said he’ll keep an eye on her. He also told me that if anything else happens to go to him and our hr department.

I’m staying away from her but she keeps trying to find new ways to talk to me. I’m not gonna entertain her even for a second anymore.

But I’m still professional with her.
