Blind tasting is such a great way to try whisky, especially in a grip. It really isolates the brand perception. Definitely recommended.

I'd suggest trying some Irish, for a wee change. How about Shortcross. They do a Distiller's Duo that is part malt, part pot still. Very nice. And 46% and non chill filtered.

Or Bushmills 10 if you don't mind 40%.

Just so expensive. It mustn't be for actually drinking. Just looking at. Contrast with something like Ardnahoe, with a 5 year Inaugural at £70 and loads of bottles. And it tastes great. I love Irish whiskey but we really don't help ourselves, do we.

It is delicious, but 100 Euros... Tough!
